Strengthen Your Skills: Upcoming Workshop with the University Staff Ombuds Office

The Office of the University Staff Ombuds is pleased to share that we will be hosting an upcoming workshop titled Working Better Together: Understanding Your TKI Conflict Style.
This interactive 60-minute Zoom session is designed to equip Georgetown employees with practical skills to navigate everyday workplace tension more confidently and constructively. Open to employees in any role, regardless of experience or management level, this session will be helpful whether you supervise others or simply want your workplace conversations to go more smoothly.
During the workshop, participants will explore the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Model to better understand their own instinctive approach to conflict and how it shapes their interactions with others. The workshop will also introduce practical strategies for working more effectively with colleagues who may approach conflict differently, helping build confidence and adaptability in challenging situations. There will be two different sessions:
• Tuesday, April 21, 2-3 p.m.
• Friday, April 24, 12-1 p.m.
